Vision Statement

The vision of Cherokee High School is to develop prepared graduates who have a blueprint for their future. 

Our Purpose

• Providing for the fullest possible development of each learner for living knowledgeably, creatively, and productively in a democratic society.

• Helping students acquire subject mastery and knowledge

• Giving students the knowledge and life skills to attend college, technical school, enter the military, or enter the workforce....with confidence.

Belief Statements

• We Believe that all students want to learn, and that learning is an essential, innate, ongoing and lifelong process.

• We Believe that all students learn differently, so educators must use various types of strategies to reach each students’ fullest potential.

• We Believe that teachers facilitate learning and that students/parents/guardians must take responsibility for the efforts put forth. By partnering together, learning can happen to the fullest extent.

• We Believe ALL students can learn!
