About Me

Bio

My name is Phillip Jennings, Jr. At age 16, I broke my neck playing football at South Greene High School in 1999. Now, I am a C4 quadriplegic, which means I am paralyzed from the neck down and cannot move my arms or legs. However, life goes on. I finished high school as valedictorian and graduated from ETSU with a BS in Computer Science and from Tusculum University with a Master of Arts in Teaching. I am happily married with 2 beautiful daughters. I do have 2 cats and 2 dogs, although my favorite pet is my black Bombay cat named Salem. I love being a teacher. I'm in it for the kids. I really hope my story and passion for life makes a difference to them.
