Extra-Curricular Feather-Next Friday will be our first club day of the year. If you have not made your top three selections for your club, go to the link in Canvas for late sign-ups and do that today. Being part of a club is a wonderful way for you to become connected to something besides the everyday school day. Whatever club you join or are placed in, be active and participate. You are what you make it so make it a great experience for you.

Today is the deadline to register for the October 17 ACT.  If you need help registering or would like to request a testing voucher, please see Mrs. Cope or your guidance counselor.

The homecoming dance will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 7:00-10:00 p.m.  Tickets will be sold in the commons for $10 and will be sold ONLY during lunch. Students who volunteer to help set up for the dance on Friday afternoon before the dance will receive community service hours. See Ms. Collins or Ms. Kendrick for details.

Teachers make sure you bring your posters to the commons at 8:00 am.   Bring tape to hang them on the wall.   Make sure you sign in with Mrs. Cope and get a number.

Teachers make sure you count your students that are dressed-up and tape that tally sheet to the outside of the door by 8:15.

Any student who does not have a 1st period go to the commons and see Mrs Cope to get counted.      

Students will be called up at 8:50 to judge for our final dress-up day.   Also, today is color day, not hat day. So, those that are chosen to be judged, you may wear your hat during the judging, but otherwise, you should not be wearing hats today.

Who will win the spirit trophy? We will find out during the pep rally 2nd period. 

The Spiritwear Shop deadline has been extended until September 18.  This will be your last chance to order great gear.  If interested see Mrs. Day in Room 303.

The payload won’t push itself y’all, please sign up for CHS Esports using the link on Canvas!  All are welcome and we are looking to form some new teams in everything from Mario Kart to Fortnite.

Bus 35 will not run this afternoon.  Students will need a ride home from Mooresburg Elementary

Bus 51 will not run this afternoon, these students will need to be car riders.
