Additional inclusive early childhood opportunities are available for preschoolers who do not meet the income requirements. Church Hill Elementary is having open enrollment for our after school program! Our program is gran t funded and offers homework help, enrichment lessons that involve ELA, Social Emotional Learning, Math and STEM! Children are also able to participate in team building games, physical activities, and a snack is always provided. Hawkins County School District is excited to offer Summer Learning Camps again this summer for our students who will be Rising 1st-9th graders. Summer Learning Camp will take place for four weeks, four days a week, between May 27 - June 19 from 7:30-2:30 p.m. This camp will focus on rising 1st-grade students through rising 9th-grade students. Parents will be notified of acceptance before the start of summer camp. Transportation will be made available daily. Breakfast and lunch will be served as part of the program.

Our Family Resource Center helps so many families and students within our community. They have a problem and need your help! Their shelves are almost totally empty. If their shelves are bare, they cannot help those in need. Please consider providing any amount of non-perishable food items to the FRC. While you are out this weekend, pick up a couple extra cans or boxes of those staples or even laundry detergent.
