Yeehaw! It's time to tip our hats to our incredible support staff! Our nurses, office workers, data clerks, bookkeepers, and assistants are the unsung heroes of our schools. They wrangle paperwork, keep our books straight, and care for our students with a true cowboy-sized heart. Thank you for all you do! #HCS #SupportStaff #RideForSuccess

District Announcement: Online Kindergarten Registration for 26-27 is open!!! In-person registration at the school site will be May 1 and May 8 from 1pm to 3pm.

Progress towards readiness begins at birth and is influenced by families and friends, early care and education providers, and the community.

A ready child is prepared physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. This means that each child enters school ready to participate in and benefit from early learning experiences that best promote the child’s success so that they are eager and excited to learn.

Kindergarten Registration Information
Dear CHMS Alumni,

I hope you are doing well!

As we work to inspire our current students and help them visualize their future paths, we are creating a "Career Alumni Wall" in the hallway. Our goal is to bridge the gap between middle school and the professional world by highlighting the diverse journeys of former students like you.

Your experience would be a powerful tool for our students to see what is possible. Would you be willing to share a few insights about your career? We have kept the questions brief so it only takes a few minutes of your time:

· Your Current Role: What is your job title and what do you do on a typical day?

· Post High School Education /Training: Where did you go to college or technical school?

· The Middle School Connection: What is one skill you learned in school (academic or social) that you actually use in your job today?

· A Piece of Advice: What is one thing you wish you knew when you were thirteen?

· Favorite Memory: Do you have a favorite teacher, subject, or club memory from your time here? If you are interested, please reply to vicki.britton@hck12.net or brittonv@mail.etsu.edu with your answers and attach a photo of yourself(if you would like)—either a professional headshot or a photo of you "in action" at your workplace.

We would love to showcase your success and show our middle schooler the many directions their hard work can take them. Thank you for considering this and for being such a great example for our school community.

Best regards,

Vicki Britton

The Church Hill Boys Baseball Team took a trip to Thomas Stadium to watch a game at the collegiate level. First, we hit Barberitos for a pregame meal and then got to watch ETSU and Virginia Tech. Nothing better than getting to watch these guys grow as players and as brothers, on and off the field. Oh, and Chase won fan of the game!! ~Coach Deric Graham
